A secure website starts with secure hosting. From our information-security and audit practice, we also look at the technical controls around your hosting environment: security updates and patch management, monitoring and uptime checks (depending on the agreed service), backups and recovery, malware prevention, and correct SSL, DNS and server configuration. We do not provide hosting ourselves — we set up and maintain these controls on the environment you already have, with your own provider or on your own server.
Secure hosting for businesses
Standard hosting mainly delivers server space; secure hosting delivers a managed, protected environment. When we technically manage a hosting environment, we take that work off your hands: a hardened server, a firewall, encryption and — depending on the environment and the monitoring service agreed with you — automated monitoring that checks technical signals 24 hours a day. Updates, configuration and outages are handled by us, so you can focus on your business instead of your server. Most hacks exploit known, unpatched vulnerabilities. That is why structured patch management is the core of secure hosting. We keep the operating system, the server software and the components of your website up to date and install security updates promptly — before attackers can exploit a flaw. Monitoring & uptime checks
Our uptime checks and security monitoring run automatically, 24 hours a day — depending on the hosting environment and the monitoring service agreed with you. What can be checked: the availability of your site and server, the technical response time of the site and server, disk space, SSL certificates and suspicious traffic. If something deviates, the system automatically raises an alert. Outages and anomalies therefore often surface before you or your visitors report them — monitoring detects problems, but it is not an uptime guarantee. Assessing and acting on those alerts is done by people: our engineers do that on working days from 09:00 to 17:00, and outside those hours where that has been separately agreed with you. The technical response time we measure is the speed of your site or server; it is not our reaction time to a report. We agree with you in advance which checks are set up for your environment, how we alert and what follow-up goes with it.
Backups & recovery
Backups are only valuable if recovery actually works. We make automatic backups of your website and database and periodically test that a restore genuinely succeeds. If something goes wrong because of an error, update or attack, we quickly restore a clean version with minimal data and revenue loss. For web shops and sites that change frequently we increase the backup frequency.
Malware prevention & SSL, DNS and server configuration
Security is also in the details. We harden the server, restrict access, block known attack patterns and keep malware out. We also handle the right SSL certificates (HTTPS), correct DNS settings and a secure server configuration. This prevents not only hacks and malware, but also subtle problems with email, reachability and trust among visitors and search engines.
Hosting for WordPress, Magento and custom builds
Every platform has its own requirements. For WordPress we focus on plugin and core updates and hardening; for Magento web shops on performance, security patches and stability under load; and for custom applications on an environment suited to your specific stack. Combine secure hosting with ongoing website maintenance and you cover both the server and the website itself.

Hosting is the foundation, but not the whole story. A secure server does not protect you against outdated plugins, vulnerable themes or an un-updated CMS. Real security comes from combining secure hosting with security updates, patch management and maintenance of the website itself. We deliver both together, so no gaps are left.
Yes. We first map out the current situation and advise where the configuration can be improved. Where you'd like, we set up the improvements ourselves — on your existing environment or, if you prefer, on a new environment with the provider of your choice. You arrange your own hosting contract; we do not provide hosting ourselves.
Our standard rate for technical work is €110 per hour, excluding VAT. The final cost depends on the agreed scope and the work actually required.
We do not give an uptime guarantee: monitoring detects problems, but it does not keep a site online by itself. Where the monitoring service is set up for your environment, our uptime checks run automatically, 24 hours a day, and the system raises an alert automatically when something deviates. Assessing and acting on that is done by people: our engineers do so on working days from 09:00 to 17:00, and outside those hours where that has been separately agreed with you. An SLA with a fixed response time is not a standard part of hosting; which checks, alerting and follow-up apply to your environment is agreed with you in advance.
By default we make daily automatic backups; for web shops and sites that change frequently this can be more often. More importantly, we periodically test that a restore actually succeeds. So after an error, incident or hack you can recover quickly with minimal data and revenue loss.
