What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them — and similar technologies such as localStorage — solely to make the website work and, with your consent, to measure usage anonymously.

Which cookies do we use?

Necessary / functional (always active)

To remember your cookie preference we store a single value locally in your browser (localStorage, key secrotec-consent). It contains no personal data and is not shared with third parties. No consent is required for this.

Analytics (only with your consent)

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to measure anonymously how visitors use the site (which pages, how long, via which channel). These cookies are only placed after you click "Accept".

No measurement without consent

By default analytics is off. We use Google Consent Mode v2: before your consent, no analytics cookies are placed and no personal data is sent to Google. Measurement only starts after your explicit "Accept".

What data, and who processes it?

For analytics, Google Ireland Ltd. processes pseudonymised usage data on our behalf. The IP address is anonymised. Data may be processed on servers outside the EEA (including the United States) under appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses / Data Privacy Framework).

Withdraw or change your consent

• Clear the site data/cookies in your browser (or delete the key secrotec-consent) and reload the page — the cookie banner will appear again.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Retention period

Analytics data in Google Analytics 4 is kept according to the configured retention period (default up to 14 months). Your locally stored preference remains until you clear it.
